If you're from the UK you might be looking for some news or opinion about Karate England, the "sport's" "governing body".
Karate England was supposedly some kind of flagship organisation with Government funding for running the (official) national competition squads as well as promoting karate in England.
I don't miss it. Most of my students have never even heard of it. I don't need governing and I don't need standardising. I just want to train and get on with my karate.
It's sad for the people who are interested in competing on the international stage, but it's not the end of the world. There are many other forms of top level competition available to you.
I have nothing more to say about Karate England! (Except why is Traditional Karate magazine still running full page ads for them?!)
